My wife and I decided to take a trip to Utah and Wyoming in what we called the "conception trip"...

Our goal was to relax and conceive our first child. We were hiking in Zion National Park deep up in a canyon when we heard a rescue whistle being blown over and over. We hiked until we found a man and a woman. The woman had suffered a heart attack. Another man and I began CPR but it was obvious the woman was dead. We kept giving her CPR because the husband was so distraught and their son had run four miles to the ranger station to get a defibrillator. I felt so bad for the son because he had tried so hard to save his mom. We were pretty upset that night and couldn't sleep so we went for a night hike. We found an incredible spot where the rocks towered over us like a cathedral. In the moonlight and in this stunning place we believe our daughter was conceived. Our national parks are powerful places for us. On that day Zion took a life but gave us our wonderful daughter. Ill never forget that day.
